Dr Hansen evaluates craniofacial growth and development and intervenes when the face, jaws, airway or tongue are not developing or have not developed correctly.  He and his specialized and multidisciplinary team work together to address growth and development abnormalities that have caused malocclusion (crowded, crooked teeth), ankyloglossia (tongue tie), maxillary hypoplasia (an underdeveloped jaw), and more.  The work to balance and strengthen the bones and muscles of the face to improve both function and aesthetics, breathing and sleeping, and more.

FUNCTIONAL FRENULOPASTY

Tongue or Lip Tie Release - A liberation of the tongue or lip, from anatomical restrictions that prevent proper nasal breathing and can contribute to a myriad of other health issues.  Dr. Hansen has studied with Dr. Soroush Zaghi at the Breathe Institute.  He has participated in their mini-residency in functionaly frenuloplasty and is Breathe Institute Affiliate.
