NEW PATIENTS
Whether you have an appointment scheduled or you are interested in visiting our office, we hope to answer questions that you may have prior to coming in!
HOW CAN I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
You can easily schedule an appointment for a new patient consult by calling our office. If you are a provider that is wanting to refer a patient, you can call or fax their information and we will call and schedule their appointment, or have your patient call our office.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Your first appointment is largely an information gathering appointment. At the OCCD a comprehensive but easy set of records will be taken. These will include:
- 3D X-ray of the head and neck
- head, neck , TMJ and oral examination
- cephalometric radiograph
- evaluation of tongue function and range of motion
- digital optical scan of the teeth
- a series of diagnostic photos
You should bring any pertinent medical and dental history information alomg with any questions you might have. If you have been referred to OCCD and Dr. Hansen by your dentist, physician, or other provider remember to bring your referral slip so we know who to thank for referring you to us and what your providers concerns may be. However, many questions can more easily be answered at your consultation appointment after the information specific to you has been gathered and analyzed.
